Air to water cooler (ВВО) is designed for cooling power semiconductor tools of rectifier units with water cooling for currents from 800A to 12,500 A by recirculating water in a closed loop. The standard BBO version is intended for cooling one rectifier.
Operation concept: The (distilled) cooling water is poured into the cooling system and, under the pressure generated by the pump unit, is supplied to the cooling radiatorsof semiconductor tools of the rectifier unit.
In the process of passing through the system of radiators, the water heats up and returns to BBO in a closed loop. Passing through BBO, with intensive fan blowing, the water is cooled and again supplied under pressure to the system of cooled radiators.
